After my arrival on Friday I was exhausted so I was really happy that I had booked Musee D’Orsay and the Hop on Hop off bus. The hotel I was staying at was right across from a train station St. George’s and it was only a few stops from the museum.
One thing I would recommend is a simcard for Europe. TELUS charges 12 dollars a day for international travel and I paid 39 euros for 20 g of data, messaging and calling. I would have been lost without google maps or another app City Mapper.
The museum was excellent and it was great to have a prepaid ticket. The lineups were long but nothing compared to the lineups on Sundays when the museums are free. I loved seeing the works of Degas, Van Gogh and Monet.
