This year since I am retired I am taking the time to decorate my house inside and out! I have collected many colours of ribbon and decorations. This year my tree is decorated with brown tones.
My outside colours are red and white! I have a wreath with red ribbon and created an urn using a red and silver theme, all very easy. The key to creating your own urn it to take the challenge and you will realize how easy it is. I filled a pot with playsand and bought greens and stuck them into the pot. You need a variety of greens and have to decide if you want a 180 or 360 profile. The one I made is 180 so I used cedar for the back of the urn to keep the shape. You can also purchase birch sticks at Home Depot and arrange the greens around the birch. It’s really all about stuffing the greens in the urn to fill it up. I rummaged through my basement and found decorations to add to the urn. I will add mini lights from Costco to finish my creation!
